Description

Triggers update operations in the integration middleware, and imports data from the middleware into Engagefully.

1. Gathers information about the source in the middleware.
2. Tells the middleware to update people from the source system. This will automatically update derived groups.
3. Pulls the list of groups from the middleware.
4. Instructs the middleware to update each fetched group from the source system.
5. Pulls new and updated people from the middleware in batches, and sends those identities to Engagefully.
6. Pulls roles from Engagefully that are identified with the given source in the middleware.
7. Pulls the list of members for each role from the middleware and Engagefully, calculates the changes, and updates the role membership in Engagefully.
8. Instructs the middleware to update registrant agenda items, if the source supports this capability.

The data connector has an execution timeout, and is designed to suspend operation when the timeout has been met or exceeded, and then to resume operation the next time it is run.
